Commitment to Work in
NP Led Clinics/FHTs

One of the mandatory requirements for NP Led Clinics is to include a minimum of two letters of commitment from NPs indicating intention to join the NP Led Clinic should it be selected. It is not mandatory but is encouraged that FHTs submit commitment letters. These letters are viewed by MOHLTC as a mechanism for government to assess the capacity of the proposal to be up and running within a year.

Members have asked if these are legal agreements to accept employment. These letters are not a legal contract. The Board of the clinic has to develop a recruitment process and undertake all necessary due diligence to confirm competency and fit with the practice. All programs are under a June 25 deadline so please respond asap!
