Annie LaRocque
M. N. Sc., NP
Annie is an NP in the community serving marginalized groups including those that are unhoused, that have mental health diagnosis, elderly, Francophone. She meets the client where they are at.
She also provides primary care at the Mental Health Court and Probation offices in downtown Ottawa. These clients would not access care otherwise if the NP was not available to offer this type of innovative primary care service.
Annie has been an NP since 2007, completing the certificate on primary care NP at the University of Ottawa. In 2009 she completed her M. Sc. N. at the same instution. She has been practising as an NP at the Montfort Hospital in the diabetes clinic, Mental Health In patient unit, and in the community since 2007.
She is the current Course Professor Lead Francophone for the Therapeutics course of the Ontario Nurse Practitioner Education Consortium and has been contracted to be the Francophone Course Developper for Course 4 of the new NP program launching in 2028. She is a proud NPAO member.
