Job Description
We are looking for a professional Nurse Practitioner to work within a modern Family Physician clinic (one on one with the Physician), who can deliver primary medical care to a wide variety of patients. The Attending NP will work as a team with the physician and nurses to assist in delivering premium care to each and every patient. Roles & Responsibilities will include:
• Perform initial patient screenings and patient history and physical examinations
• Update patient records and check records for accuracy at each patient appointment
• Analyze test date and determine the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment options
• Deliver quality care while maintaining all metrics pertaining to productivity.
• Serve as the resource patients need for ongoing care information, counseling and provide guidance for any patients with critical conditions.
Job Requirements
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse in the Extended class (Primary Health Care or Adult) and entitled to practice (required)
• 5+ years nursing experience
• Ability to work within a team and take direction
• Experience with Telus (an asset)
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
