The Nurse Practitioners’ Association of Ontario is looking for new board members to join our dynamic team! As a volunteer governor, you will have the opportunity to:
- develop and refine leadership and governance skills
- support advancement and advocacy, and
- be a representative for your NP colleagues across the province

NPAO is looking for two Nurse Practitioners, particularly those with:
- Experience in leadership activities to support equity, diversity and inclusion
- Experience in the development, delivery and/or evaluation of health service funding models
- Experience using media and social media to raise awareness of NP roles
- Experience in NP education, including program development, delivery, and/or evaluation
- Understanding of the political process; knowledge of, and access to, political and bureaucratic leaders
- Experience in development and delivery of position statements to project the collective voice of professionals.
Board positions require 2-6 hours monthly; work is primarily virtual. Representation
from across the province is desired.
