
Kathryn has been a nurse practitioner working in primary care for over 25 years. Kathryn’s focus includes women’s health issues such as urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse. Kathryn runs a Women’s Health Procedures Clinic at CFFM where they offer IUD insertions and menopause management.
Kathryn Flanigan completed her BScN at UofT in 1986. She completed her Nurse Practitioner (NP) certificate in primary health care from Western University, then returned to complete her Master in Nursing in 2013 and was awarded highest academic standing for MScN program. She is an adjunct clinical professor at McMaster University and has been awarded Preceptor of the Year in 2019, 2023 and 2024.
