As a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, Lynne supports patients by providing accessible, comprehensive healthcare that focuses on prevention, early intervention, and chronic disease management. She empowers individuals through education, personalized care plans, and ongoing support, helping patients make informed decisions about their health. Lynne’s role bridges gaps in the healthcare system by coordinating care, facilitating timely referrals, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. Through her dedication, she enhances patient outcomes, reduces hospital visits, and strengthens the overall health of the community.

Lynne is a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner with more than 35 years of nursing experience. After beginning her career as a Registered Nurse in 1991, she gained diverse experience as an ambulance attendant, nursing instructor at Confederation College, and diabetes educator before earning her Primary Care Nurse Practitioner designation from Lakehead University in 2006.

Throughout her career, Lynne has demonstrated leadership in patient care, nursing education, and professional practice. She contributed to the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario (RNAO) Best Practice Guideline for the Subcutaneous Administration of Insulin, served for many years as Treasurer of Ontario Nurses’ Association (ONA) Local 014, and has been a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner with the Greenstone Family Health Team since 2017. She also serves as a Research Assistant on a study evaluating a collaborative virtual prenatal care model for rural and remote Northern Ontario.

Recognized for her compassionate, patient-centred approach, Lynne is dedicated to improving healthcare through clinical excellence, research, and community service.
