Communications from NPAO head office will contain all province wide
announcements to
NPs. LHIN rep communications contain local issues, announcements, and
opportunities.
- NPAO head office has begun to send weekly email newsletters in a defined format. This will reduce the number of emails which members receive.
- Our CEO recently met with ADM Helen Angus to discuss the logistics of PLP funding, as the Minister of Health is interested in reinstating this. CNPS is also involved in the discussions.
- Amanda will confirm with the Board that there will not be a Regional Rep meeting held at the annual NPAO conference in September, therefore reimbursement for attending the conference will not be provided. There has been decreased attendance in the past few years for the Regional Rep meetings at the conference so they will likely continue to be held virtually.

Discussion – Issues & Opportunities as presented by members:
- Amanda received a report from Diane Gwartz that Diane will be presenting to NP students in her region (HNHB LHIN)
- Stroyan reported on a scholarship that is being set up by the Kingston group for an NP who passed away (Carla Burr)
- Kerry-Anne met with her local NP group (TC LHIN) as well as with her MPP
to discuss the NP role.
