In May 2021, NPAO distributed a 13-question survey to NPAO members to gather information around compensation for NPs in Ontario. The purpose is to create guideline document for prospective employers, governments, and unions of what an appropriate salary range is for NPs. This guidance document will be forthcoming.
The survey was distributed to 1400 NPAO NP members and 635 responses were received, representing a response rate of just over 45%. This response rate is considered excellent, and the profile of respondents is representative of the NPAO membership.
The information below represents highlights of the responses received from the member survey. This, and additional information, will be used to create the guidance document.
