iPHIS = integrated Public Health Information System; PHO = Public Health Ontario; NOC = COVID19 Provincial Diagnostic Network Operations Center; CCSO = Critical Care Services Ontario; dBCS = Daily Bed Census; CRCI = COVID-Related Critical Illness (COVID-Related Critical Illness (CRCI) is defined as: Admission to the ICU because of a clinical syndrome consistent with COVID AND the patient has had a positive test that is consistent with acute COVID illness. COVID + is a sub-set of CRCI patients whose last COVID test was positive.) * Mode of acquisition is identified following the public health investigation and may not be available at the time the case is reported. Reported numbers should not be interpreted as mode of acquisition for the previous day’s case count. The mode of acquisition is updated twice per week. ** Effective reproduction number (Rt) is updated twice weekly and not daily. Rt is not calculated for PHU Regions with case counts <12 over the reporting period. SIISP = Integrated Public Health Information System; OPH = Public Health Ontario; COR = COVID-19 Provincial Diagnostic Network Operations Center; SOSMPC = Ontario Critical Care Services; RqL = Daily census of beds; MGLC = serious illness linked to COVID-19 (a serious illness linked to COVID-19 means a disease leading to admission to intensive care due to a clinical syndrome corresponding to COVID-19 AND the result screening is consistent with an active COVID-19. Update:

• The Quick Reference Public Health Guidance on Testing and Clearing Cases has been updated and is attached. The updated guidance provides more information on management and clearance of asymptomatic cases and on work self-isolation in non-health care settings. It will be available shortly in French and English on the Ministry’s website.
• The guidance document for Management of Cases and Contacts of COVID-19 in Ontario has also been updated and is attached. It will be available shortly in French and English on the Ministry’s website.
• The Ontario government announced it is allowing Windsor-Essex to move into Stage 2 of reopening on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at 12:01 am, with the exception of the Municipality of Leamington and the Town of Kingsville. These areas are being held back due to the higher transmission rates in the local agriculture and agri-food sector. This decision was made in consultation with the Chief Medical Officer of Health and the local Medical Officer of Health of Windsor-Essex County Health Unit.
